Here We Go

Where is the summer going?! I swear it's whipping by and standing still all at once. Cliche but true. We had a really great Fourth, it was low key but good in all the right ways… I want to tell you all about it but I also don't really want to bore you. In fact, I feel like I have a lot to write about on this lil ole blog but sometimes I stop myself cuz I think maybe you're just here to see the scrappy stuff??? I dunno. I like to sprinkle in both and some real life stuff too but I haven't made the time lately. (Also, sometimes it's just faster to post a project than to pour my heart out.) I might have to fix that. For now, here's a layout. :)

I've been holding onto this 12x12 wood veneer for awhile now and when I pulled it out the other day I decided to find a way to dress it up in a unique way. The twine was laying on my desk and I just started to play and this is what I came up with. I'm really pleased with the layering and textures on this page.

It was also a project I made for my American Crafts gallery assignments so everything on there is either AC, or Crate Paper.
